Lewis Bass International Engineering Services, Inc. Announces Corporate Merger with Luis Bass S.A.

Milpitas, CA & San Jose del Cabo, BCS, Mexico – Lewis Bass International Engineering Services, Inc. (www.lewisbass.com) is pleased to announce a strategic corporate merger with Luis Bass S.A. (www.luislubina.com.mx), a leading engineering compliance consultancy based in Mexico. The merger was unanimously approved by 100% of shareholders on both sides, officially uniting two legacy firms with deep roots in equipment compliance and industrial safety.

This merger combines Lewis Bass’s expertise in NFPA 79 and NFPA 791 field evaluations across the U.S. with Luis Bass S.A.’s highly regarded conformity evaluations for unlisted equipment under Mexican standards and regulations, which include the NOM (Norma Oficial Mexicana) mark. The result is a synergistic partnership poised to deliver seamless, cross-border compliance solutions for manufacturers and facility owners navigating increasingly complex regulatory environments.

“Bringing our teams together means faster project turnaround, broader geographic reach, and a powerful knowledge exchange between two seasoned firms,” said Doug Snow, President of Lewis Bass International Engineering Services. “Efficiency and market size were both driving forces behind this deal. We’re excited about what this means for our clients and our staff moving forward.”

Don Luis Ricardo III, President of Luis Bass S.A., added, “This is more than a merger—it’s a reunion with our brothers from the north. We’ve always admired Lewis Bass’s technical rigor. Now, we’re thrilled to offer a complete compliance package to our clients in Mexico, combining U.S. and Mexican expertise under one roof.”

The newly combined entity will operate under the name Lewis y Luis Global Engineering, with dual headquarters in San Jose and San Jose del Cabo, BCS. A joint integration team has already begun aligning operations, training staff across borders, and rolling out a bilingual customer support portal to serve clients in both countries.
